There are stereotypes about both women and men which could be one of the reasons why gender is inequal.

We would like to give information about gender inequality and find a solution to this problem.

Our background information

There are many issues of gender inequality and some of the examples we can give are unequal payments in workplaces, inequality in political participation, inequality in education, and marriage. In Japan, there are actions made to support women such as women-only cars and there are discounts for only women. Japanese women nowadays have more freedom, better access to education, and more job opportunities. However, traditional gender roles and male favoritism are still pervasive in Japan.
